Potluck Dharma: September

Sharing Wisdom, Practice, Connection – and Lunch!

A Monthly Gathering with Joryu Myosei

Potluck Dharma is hitting the road for September!  We’re bringing presence, practice – and lunch – to Golden Gate Park.

Join us to explore the Sacred Wild in the heart of the city. Register below to save your spot on our picnic blanket!

(Meeting location provided after registration.)

This month, we’re on the move! It’s the same Potluck Dharma you know, grounded in presence, with an emphasis on:

  • practice themes to support awakening and embodied presence in daily life

  • time in nature to deepen our inquiry and remind us of our connection to the whole

  • multiple ways of engaging together to harness the power of community practice.

What’s new is our gathering spot for this month – with a seasonal adventure awaiting and a fresh invitation to connect more deeply with ourselves, each other, and the natural world.

I hope you’ll join us for this special outing. Bring your curiosity, your open heart, and your appetite!

About Potluck Dharma

The idea for Potluck Dharma sprouted from the meals and wisdom shared around my own table with family and friends. It’s grown into a simple, monthly gathering for community practice where old and new spiritual friends are invited to bring their wisdom, reflections, and experiences to the table, much like the assortment of dishes at a potluck meal.

Our time together is all about sharing – practice, insights, wisdom, and stories – creating a laid-back yet profound forum to explore spiritual truths and life’s deeper questions. After a morning program of meditation, experiential inquiry in nature, and time together to reflect on our theme and our practice, we’ll share a delicious, seasonal, vegetarian meal that is included with registration, and equally important in feeding the soul.

So whether you’re new to meditation and inquiry or have years of dedicated practice, I hope you’ll join us to connect, deepen, and grow – together!

Please note that this event may be recorded and potentially shared. There may be video recording of the teacher(s) during the morning session and discrete photography of the group throughout the event. Your participation in this event implies consent for us to use your image or your voice, so please share accordingly.
